Half Marathon Coach Supported Training Program 2010

What is the distance of the 1/2 marathon?                   21.1km
 
 
Paceline Coaching and Training are providing a coach supported training program to assist runners in acheiving their 1/2 marathon goal in 2010.  The program is designed for novice 1/2 marathoners or those people who have run one before and are looking to improve their performance.
 
1. Sydney Morning Herald 1/2 [website]           Sunday 16 May            Training starts 8 Feb '10*
 
2. Sydney Running Festival 1/2 [website tba]     Sunday 19 September   Training starts 21 June '10*
 
If you'd like to train for the Gold Coast 1/2 on 4 July [webiste] then join the SMH training group and then you'll get the added benefit of another 7 weeks of training :)  The coach can revise your training program and provide continued service up until the race.  An additional will apply (please enquire).
 
 * Before you commence the half marathon training program ideally you should to be able to run 10km (speed not important).
 
Sharing your journey with others in a supportive environment will be more enjoyable than going it alone.  Crossing the finish line will be a truly memorable experience.

Weekly Group Training Sessions 
 
Monday                     6.30-8pm                                               Mid paced run about 8-10km
 
Wednesday              6.30-8pm                                              Interval training (hard!)  - approx 6-8km
 
W/end                        Usually Saturday 7:30am                  Long Slow Distance (LSD) - 10km up to 19km  
 
Meet at:     Cnr Myahgah Rd/The Crescent, Mosman
 
 
Program Fee
 
OPTION 1 - 1/2 Marathon Program
All the support & benefits as per the table above INCLUDING all training sessions (3 x per week for 14 weeks) valued alone at $348.50.
Fee: $525
 
 
OPTION 2 - 1/2 Marathon Program (no prepaid training included)
All the support & benefits as per the table above EXCLUDING group training sessions.  You pay as you attend the group sessions (Mon, Wed, w/end) - $10 casual visit of session pass (10 passes = $85).
Fee: $250
 
 
For experienced runners a more specific personalised program can be developed to meet their ability/needs.  Fee available on request.
