Weekend Paceline Training Groups
Two Options
Option 1 - Group Long Run
Paceline encourage runners to gather each weekend for a group long run. Runs vary from 10k - 19k (with some longer runs when marathon training is underway). All levels of runners are welcome though should have some experience of the distance (as listed on THIS WEEKS TRAINING). A course map is posted on Thursday prior to the weekend. There is a coach who will facilitate at the start of each session & will mostly run as well (but obviously not with everyone!); therefore you run at your own risk and should bring appropriate, water, energy replacement and money (should you need to catch a bus/taxi - this happens to the best of runners).
Meeting Place: War Memorial, cnr Myahgah Road, The Crescent, Mosman (Away Runs bi-monthly so check the THIS WEEKS TRAINING)
Meeting Day & Varies (ensure you check the This Weeks Training page)
Day: Mostly: Sat. 6.30am
Pace: Various - just come along and meet other likeminded/like-paced runners
Fee: December & January (NO FEE)
February through till end November
$10 per person (payable to the coach)
FREE to runners who attend the Paceline Mond/Wed (with Anne Powell) sessions regularly and/or are on a event specific training program offered by Paceline.
Note: Previously these runs were all FREE. However, the Paceline coaches agreed that it was unfair on the people who are regular supporters of the Paceline sessions and training programs and pay for these services should the Saturday run be FREE to everyone. Visitors are welcome to come along for a $10 fee. We belive this makes it fair and equitable for everyone and enables Paceline to provide web based data, route designs and coaches time.
Option 2 - Group Run - Coach Led (ideal for newer runners)
This group would suit people having completed the Learn to Run course or if you currently jog on your own and would like to run with a group of likeminded people. The running pace of the group ranges from around 6.5-7.5 min per km pace.
The group is friendly and supportive - no one gets left behind.
A coach will lead the group, challenging, encouraging and supporting you to achieve your running goals.

Meeting Time: 7am
Day: Saturday

Note: Paceline run in the rain & sunshine. On the rare occasion of lightening, torrential downpour, storm or high temperatures the session will be cancelled.

Participation Form - All participants are required to sign a Participation Form before their first time at a Paceline Coaching and Training Session.
